Becoming a Diva has added a new purpose to my life. I'm passionate about what Downsizing Diva stands for and the much-needed senior transition services we provide for older adults. I want to give back to my community by working through this often overwhelming transition that clients experience.

I really do understand the impact of transitioning out of a family home, how it can have an emotional impact not only on our clients but also their families. I am inspired by seeing our clients happy and pleased with the final results of the services we provide in getting them settled in.

We also assist with making changes within the home to allow for aging in home.  I’m inspired by the look on my clients’ faces once I've lifted the burden of this transition from their shoulders. Helping with appointments and running errands is just part of the personal touch added to what we do for our clients.

I hope I can help make it easier by taking the weight off and reducing stress whether you are considering a move or planning to age in place.

In true Diva style, Maria combines understanding with compassion and a smile. As Maria likes to say, "To succeed in life you need three things: a backbone, a wishbone, and a funny bone". Maria lives in Mississauga. Coming from the corporate world she brings excellent skills such as organization, communication, client services and project management.
