I want to make a difference in a family’s life by giving the best support I can to older adults who need to makes changes to their living situation. Seeing my dad go through a medical emergency and the need for physical and practical help is what inspired me to become a Diva.

Becoming a Diva has added new purpose to my life. I'm very passionate about what Downsizing Diva stands for and the much needed Downsizing services that we provide. This is often an overwhelming transition for clients. I want to give back to my community by working through it with our seniors and their families.

I fully understand how the transition out of a family home can have a big emotional impact on not only older adults but also their families.

When clients first enter their new place, they are so grateful and happy for making it look like home. I’m inspired by the look on my clients’ faces when clients first enter their new place.  They are so grateful and happy for making it look like home.

Maria I cannot say enough positive things about Maria Lourenco of Downsizing Diva. During the height of COVID my mother fell at her residence and had to moved to our home. It was an extremely stressful time for the family, but Maria and her crew made it the most stress free move. They interfaced with my Mother’s residence, were able to pack and move her in the most efficient manner. May I add that this was not an easy thing to accomplish, especially during COVID and dealing with the restrictions that were in place during the move. Maria has a wonderful caring way and and was so pleasant to deal with. During one of the most stressful times Maria was able to accomplish what was needed done.
